About Durolane

Durolane is a clear, flexible gel made from a form of a naturally occurring substance called hyaluronic acid (HA), which is the body's own joint lubricant.

Durolane has been developed specifically to treat the symptoms of osteoarthritis in the knee and hip. It works by restoring the lubricating and shock-absorbing properties of joint fluid, which are depleted in osteoarthritis.

Durolane is made from NASHA, non-animal stabilised hyaluronic acid. NASHA gels have been safely used for over 20 years in the human body.
