Treatment
There are several ways in which a patient may receive DUROLANE, either through the NHS or privately.
Please note that we cannot guarantee that a patient will be suitable for DUROLANE treatment as this decision will need to be made by a medical professional.
Private Treatment
Reimbursement for DUROLANE by insurance companies is sporadic. There is no overall policy at the moment. Patients may often receive reimbursement for the clinician consultation and injection fees from their insurance company however, the cost of the DUROLANE may need to be met initially by the patient and reimbursement sought following treatment. If the patient cannot afford this option then they should seek approval for DUROLANE treatment prior to undertaking it.
NHS Treatment
Patients can receive DUROLANE as a treatment from the NHS. (See classification description for further information)
